Backlight Does Not Adjust

I purchased a new ITC-IR1000B yesterday and it immediately wanted to download new firmware which I allowed (now v257-a-865-a-070-a-002). Afterward the display was very dim. No setting for Active, Inactive, or Setting makes any difference. The display is very dim, almost off. Is this a bug in the firmware? What do I need to do to resolve this issue?

Mine works fine after the upgrade. I did have to reset it through the Settings menu after the upgrade, as it was dim at first.

As always, try a hard boot by unplugging the radio for five minutes. Good luck.
