Equalizing audio output on Solo

The preamp in the Solo is overdriving the audio output into my Bose 1-2-3 system. The audio input on the Bose cannot be altered. Is there a way to bypass the preamp on the Solo? Does anyone know of another fix? Great little unit, but I can't use it in the intended way unless I solve this problem.

I think you might have same problem I have, I have my solo hooked directly to a harmon kardon avr that is experiencing clipping or like a surge in audio durring the mid and bass hits.... using pandora on my ps3 this is not a concern.... think the RCA pre outs are lousy quality... may send mine back and just use another source... too bad its a neat little unit but audio thru a proper pre amp amp setup is horrid.
