How to Stream from Computer to Radio

Is there a way to stream music from my laptop to my internet radio?
I have a Wi-Fi Tuner GDI-IRDT200

It would be nice if I hit "Play" on my iTunes/WindowsMediaPlayer/SomeOtherMediaPlayer on my laptop and have it stream directly to the Tuner.

Is there a way to do this?

Thanks!
ps. How do you search these forums? I can't find the search button anywhere.

NiceCast

I use a program on my Mac called NiceCast.

It broadcasts my mac audio in an external and internal IP. I just add the IP to receivea under 'my streams' like this:

http://192.168.1.23:8000

Then I NAT port 8000 request to the Mac in the router.

How to Stream from Computer to Radio

I am no expert, but I can tell you what I did... I assume you already have some sort of home wifi network set up.

Step 1a: In microsoft windows, you have to set up your computer to make the files available. This means going into the control panel and setting up your media streaming options to allow your GDR to have access to streaming files.

Step 1b: Once you have done this, then you can right click on the folders that have music in them and set them to share with the GDR.

Step 2: On your GDR, scroll on the menu to "Media Player" --> "UPnP Servers" --> the name of your computer. Play "all files" or whatever genre/artist you want to select.

I think that's it. Easy, peasy!

Windows Media Player's "Play To"

Kensington's instructions do work for me (I have a computer with Windows 7 SP1 and a GDI-IRMS300). Thanks! However, they're inconvenient in that they require finding the music I'm looking for using the GDI-IRMS300's controls -- it would be much easier to search and select songs on the computer and use that to tell the music to play on the GDI-IRMS300. Windows Media Player does appear to provide a way of doing that -- the "Play To" option, available in the "Play" tab and also when you right-click on a song. That offers a list of devices to play the music to.

When I use it, the GDI-IRMS300 does show up in the list of available devices to play to, with the name that I'd given it when I was setting it up. However, when I actually click on it to tell the music to play there, Windows Media Player tells me, after a moment, "Device is not responding", and the music does not play. I haven't figured out why not yet (I don't know for sure that the GDI-IRMS300 provides that functionality, but it does show up on the list, which I would think means that it's advertising itself to the network as doing so). (I've asked support about it -- if they reply, I'll post the answer here too, in case any other forum readers have the same question.)
