No sound!

My 1000 Grace Internet radio turns on, finds the network, hooks up with the gateway, finds the station, buffers it and plays. Except there is no sound even though the volume bars show when you turn the volume up or down. Do these radios have a mute capability? I couldn't find one in the manual. The only other thing I can surmise is that there is a problem with the hardware. Any help is appreciated.

no sound

I have the same problem, no sound but looks like it has found the station. Tried more than one station too. Can't get alarm clock to work either even though it is in the window as set with the time.
