NO SOUND - But apparently connected

NO SOUND

I recently purchased a reconditioned Grace Wireless Internet Radio from Grace Digital Inc., Model ITC-IR1000B. It had the upgraded firmware already installed.

I was able to connect to the wireless internet service of the building and stored the two stations, that I want to listen to, into memory. I was able to listen to either of these stations for several weeks with no problem.

Starting last week, I get no sound from the speaker & am no longer able to listen to either of these stations on my Grace Radio. When I turn the radio on, the following appears on the screen:

1st

2nd This is the name of the wireless network.

3rd This screen appears intermittently, as sometimes it goes directly
to the 4th screen.

4th One of my two preset stations
Appears on the second line of the display for a few seconds
Appears at the bottom of the display for a few seconds

5th
Appears on the second line of the display for a few seconds
with a rapidly increasing number before the percent sign.
Sometimes, I get to see the number 100 before the % sign,
before I see the 6th screen.

6th
<32Kbps WMA> Appears on the second line of the display

If I switch to preset #2, I get similar screen displays finally ending in:
< KNAU-FM 88.7 (Northern Arizona Univ) Flagstaff, AZ>
<96 Kbps MP3> The 96 Kbps MP3, which rapidly changes to 32 Kbps MP3>

I can listen to either of these stations from my laptop computer while located next to the Grace Radio. On my laptop the signal strength of the wireless signal varies between 4 & 5 out of 5. This depends upon where I have both the Grace Radio & my laptop. If I move closer to the wireless - the signal strength goes to 5

Today, I tried to connect to KNX 1070 Radio out of LA as well as KABC 790 with the Grace Radio and receive similar screens, but still - NO SOUND. Laptop works fine on all 4 stations: KCFR, KNAU, KNX & KABC.
