The comparison chart isn't much of a comparison. Second, I cannot find any on-line manuals to show me that the 2000 has a line-out. I can get by without the wire connection, but the line-out is a must have as the volume must be down (hence why a line-out and not the headphone jack) on the radio.

Ethernet connector
I think what you will want is the GDI-IR3000 or GDI-IR3020. The 1000 and 2000 do not have the RJ45 connector. Some of the other newer Reciva radios have the ethernet connectors, but I have found the sound quality of the Grace is superior to the others I have used.
