Recording tracks
Same question as rtweaver, How do I separate and identify each track so that I can replay any individual track from "Windows Media Player", or copy the songs individually to a CD?
recording and marking tracks individually
So do you record each track separately and then when you burn them, record them together again?
Or can you record each track and then export each separately??????????? and then burn off one list?
recording tracks
I was mystified with the same thing at first. I don't know how I stumbled on to the solution, but stumbling was involved. Using the arrow, highlight a single song; then, at the top left-hand side of the screen, click on 'file' and then select the option, 'export selection as _____' (where the blank represents the three different options that Audacity gives you: wave format, MP3 format and ogg vorbis [???] format).
If you followed the instructions in the manual and downloaded the "lame_enc.dll" file on to your desktop, all those options will be available.
If you haven't highlighted a bit of what you've recorded, those exprt options will be greyed out and unavailable for you.

I have the exact same question. I see no answer to the question since your post of 12/8/08. I'm going to try the phone number for tech support when they open today. DLABBY
