Skipping

Well I read though some of the comments, and it looks as though this is a common problem. :(

I've tried cleaning and re-cleaning records, tried wieghing down the arm with coins and all to no avail.

It still skips. :(

Is there a solution to this anyone?

I just want to say I have the same problem.

Just took my turntable (Pico) out of the box today (Xmas gift) and it skips on all my records. Seems whenever there is a heavy drum beat or guitar chord in the song is what causes it. Sucks 'cause my wife almost had to beat off another woman at the store to get this for me (It was the last one). Anyways, going to return it asap unless I find some more useful info.

Don't plan on glueing pennies to the needle arm for weight or something similar, why would I want to own something that can't work properly out of the box?
