sound

when trying to record , which does not work as I cannot get playback, aterwards when I go to play music recorded on my PC it changes the sound as sounding like chipmunks playing. any help ??

check your sample rate

this could also be a sample rate issue, when sample rates do not match, or if a recording jumps in sample rate, your audio can sound either v e r y s l o w or chipmunk-y

sound

my guess is its probably your first attempt, and since my turntable was set to 78 rpm when i opened it, yours probably was too. set it to 45 rpm and the chipmunks should depart your recording. you would also need to connect your RCA cables to get sound while youre recording
