stereo recording

I am only get one channel input from the turntable to my pc/usb. levels are left side only.
I'm using vista.
Playback is 2 channel however

edit/preferences/audioI/O...changed from 1 channel to 2. just that easy! my old vinyl sounds so much sweeter now!
