Too much gain

I just got a new Grace VinylWriter Pico and am generally pleased with it (so far!).

I got a 78 RPM stylus (see the link below), which makes a major difference in the recording quality of 78s :-)

However, the signal output (via USB) is clipping a dB or two. So: is there a way to set the analog gain ahead of the digital-to-analog circuit? I'm willing to open the chassis.
