I bought a turntable from London Drugs two days ago. I believe it is set up correctly, but*** sometimes I get a wave pattern and sometimes I don't. On the few occasions when it worked the sound was terrible and the volume was quite low although it was turned up to the max. The on line manual is not the greatest. Any suggestions other than to get my money back?

Which model of the Grace Digital turntables did you purchase? I'm not sure what could cause the computer to recognize the turntable occasionally and not everytime. To me, that sounds like a software problem.
As for the sound quality maybe the recording level in the software you are using or audio input level on your computer is set too low. I would say try those options and see if they help.
