My new usb turntable recorder worked fine for the first try.
After that, when I click on record, all I get is a flat line.
It is not recording. Almost like there is no connection from turntable to pc
YES! the usb is plugged in. And the vinyl record is playing. I uninstalled software & reinstalled.
But still NO recording. I'm not saying that it probably isn't operator error.
BUT I still need help. any & all suggestions are appreciated.

That is very unusual. What windows operating system are you using? Make sure to go to the sound settings on your computer and select the turntable as default for recording. It should appear as AKA. Where you able to record the first time or just play music?

In the box below and to the right of the stop button make sure Stereo Mix is selected. Also make sure the Software Playthrough box is ticked from Edit,Preferences, Audio I/O. Everything else should be set up as your default sound card(whatever that is). This is done automatically when you install the software.

i just bought your vinylwriter gdi-vw03 and the software was broken in the box. as i live an hour and a half from where i purchast it. i am requesting a free download from you. i also went to the free audasity download but all i got was wav pad thats not funkchanal
