wi-fi portal

I have just purchased a Grace GDI-IR1000. It works fine. I wonder if it is possible to use a different portal with this radio. Apparently it is programmed to work with Reciva, which is OK but definitely not my personal favorite. I originally owned another internet radio of a different brand which worked with the Frontier Silicon portal, and is in my opinion the better of the two portals. Looking through the handbook for the Grace, I can't seem to find any info for using a different portal. Does anyone know for sure. Thanks!
