Recording to a MAC

I cannot get the 2USB to open or eject the tape

I can not get device to open or eject tape. Neither can I get it to play or input to my Mac. Have been trying to resolve issus for 8 to 12 months. Help

Turntable stops playing

I have a Vinylwriter - Haven't used it in at least a year.
It now only plays for about 15 seconds and then the tonearm lifts and moves to the off position.

I have tried this on various sections on a LP it does it everywhere.

Anybody have any ideas of a fix?

tape2usb - high pitched feedback

I have two problems. First of all, when I am playing a tape to convert into an MP3, some sort of high-pitched feedback appears on the MP3. Secondly, the Grace device is picking up some AM radio station that ends up on the MP3. HELP!

Grace Tape2USB

Is there a way to export a recording directly to GarageBand from Audacity? If so, how?

Thanks in advance.

Apple Mac does not recognize Grace Tape2USB Device

So this section seems like the most appropriate for this question, given there does not seem to be a section for the Tape2USB device. I am having problems even getting the Mac to recognize the device when plugged in. According to the Digital Turntable Vinylwriter Instrutions found under the previous post in the "Recording to a MAC" topic, When plugging in the GDI-T2USB via USB I should have expected something to show in the Apples "Sound preferences" to indicate the computer had successfully recognized the Tape2USB device.

Grace Digital Audio Mac Recording Guide

Grace Digital Audio have created PDF instructions of the steps necessary to record using a MAC computer. If you go to the Vinylwriter product page on the GraceDigitalAudio.com site, you can find the MAC instructions under the "Downloads" tab.

They can also be downloaded from here.

no sound coming out while recording

I believe I have followed what few instructions there are for Mac users in the Vinylwriter Pico User Guide, but I'm still not able to monitor the sound while recording. I set the Audacity Audio I/O preference to Hardware Playthrough as instructed in the Audacity manual. The recording process seems to be fine except I can't hear what's being recorded as I'd like to. The User Guide for the Vinylwriter Pico is really poor and inaccurate in some places and no help in troubleshooting.
