The Rock Sounder can be played via the built in included rechargeable battery or plugged into the wall outlet (adapter included). The Rock Sounder will even play while being charged. The wireless transmitter is dual powered ( AA batteries not included or included AC power) and can be plugged into your stereo, iPhone /iPod, mp3 player or TV!
